The Urban and Regional Planning Education Centre (URPEC) was created from the simple need to further develop the skillset and knowledge base of undergraduate town planners prior to starting their work placements – bridging the gap between their theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

URPEC was founded by Alexander Steffan (Director at Steffan Town Planning) who quickly identified the need for better online education within the property development industry. Registering interest from developers, investors, architects, real estate agents, engineers, and building certifiers (just to name a few), the online course offering was quickly expanded and now actively promotes training to anyone who wants to learn more about property development or town planning.

To create an online learning platform to share our knowledge of the development world.

We want to break down complicated legislation processes and up-skill our future town planners, developers and professionals so they’re armed to make more informed business decisions.
